Welcome to Our Church

Loving God & Loving Others

Who We Are

Believing in God’s Word and Spirit

The Church, Victory Chapel, is a non-denominational centre of worship for all Christians (within and outside) the University of Uyo community. We exist to foster unity, spiritual growth and progress of the Christian community, based on biblical principles. We believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ, the existence of one eternal God manifested in God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We are committed to maintaining and extending the Christian witness to all members of the University community and others

In its early days, the church was popularly regarded as ‘students church’ because majority of the members were students and services were held only when the school was in session. A time came, the student members decided to give the church a structure and make it a full-time church. Executives were formed, staff were employed. This birthed the present-day Victory Chapel.
